Vintage Late 1940s Early 1950s Size 6 Navy Blue Slubbed Rayon Fitted Wiggle Dress

Condition - In good vintage condition for its age. 

This lovely original late 1940s/early 1950s wiggle dress is made from a navy blue satin backed slubbed rayon fabric. It could be silk but with no labels in it I can't be sure.

It has a rounded neckline to the front of the dress and a slightly lower neckline to the back.

Fastening to the back of the dress with a metal zip and hook.

It has mid length dolman style sleeves.

Fitted at the waist with a small decorative bow detail.

There is a panel to either side of the bodice at the front which goes over the shoulder and the fastens at the back of the dress with three buttons. A really lovely attention to detail.

Cinched in at the waist in a wiggle style. 

The skirt is below knee length and slightly flared.
