Brand - Unbranded. I think this was likely made by an experienced dressmaker.
Condition - good vintage condition and constructed really well.
The dress is made from what feels like a wool crepe fabric in moss green.
The dress has a double layered structure at the bodice with an inner boned corset layer.
The corset is boned at the front and sides to give shape and structure. It fastens to the back with hooks & eyes.
There is an inner band around the waist and it fastens to the back with a hook & eye fastening tab to cinch the waist.
The outer layer sits over the corset and this fastens to the back with a metal zip.and hook.
The front of the outer layer has a cross over v-neckline with pleated detailing. You can see the front of the corset through the v-neckline.
It has mid length dolman sleeves with underarm gussets typical of the era.
It has a straight fitting pencil skirt that is fully lined.
With a panelled split to the back.
The dress is an estimated size 8 based on the measurements of the inner corset/bust.
