Vintage 1940s Size 12 Black Woven Rayon Pleated Belted Tea Day Dress

Brand - Unbranded.

Condition - In really good vintage condition for its age. 

This lovely vintage 1940s day/tea dress is made from a black woven viscose/rayon fabric. The fabric is intact throughout with no signs of wear or holes etc. In fact it only looks like it has been worn a few times.

It has a small peter pan style collar and fastens down the front of the bodice with fabric covered buttons. 

It has vertical pleating to the front of the bodice. 

With long sleeves that fasten at the cuffs with two press studs. 

It also fastens to the side of the dress with a metal zip.

It has the original belt at the waist that fastens to the front with two press studs hidden begins two buttons. 

With a below knee length pleated flared skirt that is unlined.
