She was born in London in 1896 to the family of Polish descent. She lived and operated out of Hemel Hempstead.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShe was famous throughout the 1950s and 60s for her high quality hand-made knitwear, distinctive hostess dresses  exclusive children's clothing. Her hand-crafted garments were retailed internationally, though major department stores.
